Numerous BiH officials from political, social, cultural and religious life are today in Vlašić Mountain, where the event called “Days of Victory, Days of Pride” is being held.

The liberation of Vlašić is one of the most significant victories of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the largest flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to be presented on the highest peak of Vlašić.

“The year 1995 was a turning point for the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in terms of victories, and that is why we gathered here today in Vlašić to mark and celebrate it so that it would not be forgotten and to remember what the soldiers of the Army of RBiH did for their country.

When on March 23, 1995, we liberated the peak of Vlašić Paljenik, then the late commander Mehmed Alagić ordered to make a flag, which today symbolizes that period, 10 meters wide and five meters high on a 17-meter mast. be higher than the top of Paljenik,” Zijad Čaber, commander of the 312th famous mountain brigade of the RBiH Army, pointed out for FTV.
