At Bayer Medical Institute, a woman who was previously infected with coronavirus has passed away, Klix.ba news portal reports.

According to Health Minister of Tuzla Canton Dajana Colic, said it is an elderly woman who was tested positive for coronavirus at the Heart Center in Tuzla on March 29th this year.

“A retest was done two days ago, and today she had to undergo another retest according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization. She then had to be admitted for home treatment, but this morning she passed away of heart failure, ” Colic said.

The deceased is a woman from the Zenica-Doboj Canton who was treated at a private hospital in Tuzla. Since she was infected in the Tuzla area, it was reported in this city according to epidemiological statistics.

This is the second death in the Tuzla Canton of a person who has been infected with a coronavirus.

An elderly female had passed away earlier, and it was common for these two to be from the Bayern hospital cluster.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Tuzla Canton, 84 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported, of which 70 are currently active. When it comes to hospitalization of infected persons, 13 are located at the University Clinical Center in Tuzla, one is at Bayern, one has been transferred to a hospital in Brcko, and 55 are in home isolation.

Currently, there are 1155 people infected with coronavirus, 275 recovered and 44 deceased.
