Lebanon’s health ministry said 850 people have been killed in Israeli strikes since March 2, when Israel began attacking Lebanon after Hezbollah fired rockets at the country.
Health officials said more than 100 children were killed and more than 2,000 injured in the Israeli strikes.
Also today, 14 people, including four children, were killed and eight wounded in three airstrikes carried out by Israel in southern Lebanon.
The attacks came in response to Hezbollah rocket attacks, which further escalated tensions in the region and led to a large number of civilian casualties.
