An elderly woman, who was coronavirus positive, was confirmed dead at the University Clinical Center in Tuzla on Monday. This is a patient who was previously undergoing treatment at Bayer Medical Institute (former Heart Center). She is ninth victim of coronavirus.
It has been confirmed by the Tuzla Canton Crisis Staff that a sudden cardiac death occurred in the patient this morning. “Her condition required immediate medical intervention.
Due to the comorbidities present, the patient’s recovery was prolonged and a sudden cardiac death occurred this morning, closely related to her primary diagnosis. The presence of coronavirus was found in the patient,” was stated by the Tuzla Crisis Staff.
