Debevec, Mehmedagic and Pijuk are charged with Multiple Criminal Offenses

On July 1, 2025, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina received the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the case of Ranko Debevec et al. (S1 2 K 047095 25 Ko), which charges the suspects Ranko Debevec, Osman Mehmedagić and Milisav Pijuk with having committed the following criminal offenses by the actions described in the indictment:

Ranko Debevec: abuse of position or authority under Article 220, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of BiH, under Count 2 of the indictment – ​​the criminal offense of forgery of an official document under Article 226, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of BiH; under Count 3 of the indictment – ​​the criminal offense of receiving a reward or other form of benefit for trading in influence under Article 219, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH; under count 4 of the indictment – ​​the criminal offense of receiving a reward or other form of benefit for trading in influence under Article 219, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH; under count 5 of the indictment – ​​the criminal offense of unauthorized wiretapping and audio or optical recording under Article 147a of the Criminal Code of BiH in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of BiH; under count 6 of the indictment – ​​the criminal offense under Article 29 of the Law on Gender Equality of BiH and false representation under Article 369, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of FBiH in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of BiH, all in conjunction with Article 53 of the Criminal Code of BiH;

Osman Mehmedagić: abuse of position or authority under Article 220, paragraph 1 of the BiH Criminal Code, in conjunction with Article 29 of the BiH Criminal Code, under Count 7 of the indictment – ​​criminal offense of forgery of an official document under Article 226, paragraph 2 of the BiH Criminal Code, under Count 8 of the indictment – ​​criminal offense of abuse of position or authority under Article 220, paragraph 1 of the BiH Criminal Code, all in conjunction with Article 53 of the BiH Criminal Code;

Milisav Pijuk: unauthorized wiretapping and audio or optical recording under Article 147a of the BiH Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 29 of the BiH Criminal Code, under Count 6 of the indictment – ​​criminal offense under Article 29 of the Law on Gender Equality of BiH and false representation under Article 369, paragraph 1 of the BiH Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 29 of the BiH Criminal Code, all in conjunction with Article 53 of the BiH Criminal Code.

The Court’s decision on the received indictment will be made within the time prescribed by law, and the public will be informed about it in a timely manner.
