Delegation of OSCE Mission to BiH visits Tuzla Canton Assembly

Speaker of the Tuzla Canton Assembly Žarko Vujović and Deputy Speaker of the TC Assembly Boris Krešić today received representatives of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Damir Gnjidić, Head of the Tuzla Field Office, and Dragica Karadžin, Democratic Development Officer.

During the meeting, they discussed the priorities for Tuzla Canton. Speaker of the Assembly, Žarko Vujović, emphasized as a priority the continuation of activities on the renewal of equipment at the University Clinical Center Tuzla, as well as the strengthening of personnel capacities in the health sector.

Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Boris Krešić announced his determination to start construction of the University Campus in Tuzla, where funds have been provided in the budget for this year, and the completion of the entire project is expected by 2026.

Representatives of the OSCE – Field Office Tuzla, emphasized the need to continue the implementation and enforcement of the Law on reporting, origin and control of assets of elected officials, holders of executive functions and advisers in the Tuzla Canton, and to strengthen the personnel of the Office for the fight against corruption and quality management of TC.
