CoE delegation held talks yesterday in Sarajevo with the leadership of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to get additional information that will be a part of the annual report on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the meeting, the chairman of the House Fehim Škaljić said to FENA that the guests were particularly interested in the reformation of the legal system of BiH in accordance with the European standards. Škaljić added that they were also interested in the protection of human rights, education and the other issues BiH is facing on its path to the EU.
CoE Delegation expressed their willingness to help the strengthening the parliamentary democracy in BiH.
Škaljić said that it is very important that experts and civil sector should give their contribution to the work of parliamentary bodies.
