Deputy Ministers of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Slaven Galić and Aleksandar Goganović and Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina Lieutenant General Gojko Knežević are traveling today on an official visit to the United States of America, where they will participate in bilateral defense consultations between the Ministries of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States.
During the several-day visit to the United States, several high-level meetings will be organized to review the current state and further development of bilateral military cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States of America.
The delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina will also visit the Maryland National Guard, which has been cooperating with the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than 15 years on the development of their capabilities and interoperability with NATO.
The delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the bilateral talks in the Pentagon will be led by the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zukan Helez, who traveled to the United States the day before to participate in the several-day spring meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in Washington, the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
