After the victory against Wales in Cardiff, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team arrived in Sarajevo. The World Cup play-off final between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy will be played on Tuesday in Zenica, with a live broadcast from 8:35 p.m., exclusively on BHRT.
A large number of fans welcomed the Dragons at the Sarajevo airport on Friday.
After getting off the plane, Ermedin Demirović and Nikola Katić gave statements to the media.
“I was not lucky yesterday, I did not play a game that I expected. Everyone is behind me and that will give me strength and I hope that I will give it back to everyone on Tuesday,” said Demirović.
When asked if we can expect a goal from him on Tuesday, Demirović said:
“Of course, I will give it back to everyone. I will do my best to give it back to everyone on Tuesday,” Demirović told the fans.
Nikola Katić said that the Dragons will be ready for the duel with the Italians in the World Cup play-off final.
“It’s a big step for us, on the wings of this victory we’re going to take a step forward,” Katic pointed out.
“Difficult match, one of the best national teams in the world, but we know our quality. We don’t get involved in their celebration, we only look at ourselves. We will analyze and get ready,” Katic said.
