The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, spoke on Friday at the initial meeting of the Steering Committee of the project “Partnerships for Equality: No to Hate Speech and Division in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, which is being implemented with the support of the United Nations.

The project aims to improve accountability and cooperation in the fight against hate speech, strengthen capacities for its monitoring and suppression, and contribute to strengthening social cohesion and trust in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Forto stated that hate speech must not go without consequences.

The Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina is participating in this project as an institutional partner of the UN agencies implementing the project – UNESCO, UNDP and UN Women, the ministry announced.
