EUFOR Deputy Commander Brigadier General Legoza conducted an official visit to Banja Luka, where he met with the Commander of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina Support Command, Major General Zdravko Rezo, and the Commander of the 6th Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Krajšumović.

Discussions focused on the importance of continued cooperation between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in maintaining and enhancing interoperability in support of stability throughout the country. The meeting also highlighted the value of joint training and engagement in strengthening coordination, readiness, and collective capability.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of combined training activities in refining command and control procedures, while also improving tactics, techniques, and procedures through shared experience and professional cooperation.

The recently completed joint exercise ‘Combined Response 26’ was highlighted as a strong example of the positive and effective cooperation between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exercise demonstrated the ability of both forces to work together in a coordinated and professional manner in support of a safe and secure environment across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meetings, Brigadier General Legoza underlined the importance of continued partnership and joint preparedness between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Strong cooperation and interoperability between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains essential in maintaining stability and readiness. Through continued joint training and engagement, we continue to strengthen our collective capability, coordination, and mutual understanding in support of peace and stability throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

The visit reaffirmed the strong and ongoing cooperation between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the shared commitment to professionalism, preparedness, and long-term stability across the country.
