The Ministry of Economy of CS allocates more than 1.2 Million BAM for Women’s Entrepreneurship

The Ministry of Economy of the Canton of Sarajevo has published a public call for submission of applications for the promotion of the development of female entrepreneurship, for which a total of 1,228,000 BAM has been provided in the budget of the Canton of Sarajevo for 2026. The program is intended for business entities in private majority ownership of women that operate in the area of CS, with the aim of strengthening their competitiveness, improving business and creating conditions for sustainable growth and development.

Female entrepreneurship is one of the important drivers of economic development, employment and innovation, and with this program the Ministry continues to provide concrete support to women who develop their own business ideas.

A special focus is placed on investments that contribute to the modernization of business, the introduction of new technologies, the digitalization of processes, the improvement of the quality of products and services, and the strengthening of market competitiveness.

Beneficiaries of the program have funds available for reimbursement of part of the costs of equipment acquisition, technological modernization, digitization of operations, introduction and renewal of quality standards, professional development of employees, as well as lease of office space.

The maximum amount of incentives per user is 50,000 BAM.

Through this public call, the Ministry wants to further empower women in the business world and contribute to the creation of a stronger, more competitive and resilient economy of the Canton of Sarajevo.

The deadline for submitting applications is 30 days from the day of publication of the public invitation, the KS Protocol and Public Relations Service announced.
