Did You know that Parma and Sarajevo played a friendly Match in 1994?

Parma Sarajevo klix.baThe Italian football club Parma has been going through a rough period since its founding. The club that had recently bankrupted is competing in the Serie D this season, under the name Parma Calcio 1913, and an information appeared couple days ago that the former giant of the Italian football offered a trophy for sale.

In its rich history, Parma won trophies and had several amazing generations that played extaordinarily.

Many football lovers in B&H do not know that Parma measured forces with the FC Sarajevo 21 years ago. The friendly match was played on November 9th 1994 at the stadium Ennio Tardini.

Although the result was of secondary importance, it is worth pointing out that the hosts celebrated with a result of 2:1. The guests from Kosevo took the lead thanks to an amazing goal of Turkovic in the 34th minute. Brolin tied the result in 75th minute, and just a minute later Minoti set the final score.

Namely, this match was played within the tour of the Bordeaux team, and Parma wanted to support the BH football that has been going through exceptionally hard times.

The football in B&H survived, and hopefully so will Parma, the club that used to win the UEFA Cup, overcome the most difficult crisis since the founding of the club.
