Swedish driver of Bosnian and Herzegovinian (BiH) origin Dino Beganovic has changed teams in Formula 2 and will no longer drive for the Hitech TGR team.
Starting from next season, Beganovic will be part of the DAMS Lucas Oil Team, whose colors he will also defend in Formula 2.
This will be Beganovic’s second season in this competition, and already this year he has recorded several good results and is eighth in the Formula 2 drivers’ standings.
Beganovic achieved his best results this year in Imola, where he climbed the podium as third-placed, while at Silverstone he was fourth.
For Beganovic, this will be a return to his former team.
“I’m extremely happy to return to DAMS Lucas Oil for another season in Formula 2. Last year I felt an instant connection with the team – both on a professional and on a personal level – and together we showed great potential,” said Beganovic, who remains a member of Ferrari’s Academy.
“I’m grateful for the trust they have shown me and for the continued support of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy. The goal now is to build on the progress we’ve made and consistently fight at the front,” added Beganovic.
Until the end of the Formula 2 season, there are only races in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates left to be held.
