dino2 In the second largest hall in Austria, Stadthalle in Linz, Merlin sang for two and a half hours. The delighted audience made Merlin, one of the most popular songwriters of the Balkans, return to the stage three times for encores.

Other world-famous names such as Whitney Houston, Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, and Robbie Williams have played in Stadthalle, but Merlin is the only star from the Balkans who has graced this stage.

Several thousand visitors came to the show from various cities in Austria and neighboring countries. From the first notes of the regional hit “Školjka” to the last track from the set list, “Undo” they enjoyed themselves. Among the new and old hits of Wizard, the audience, made up of all ages, unanimously sang Dino‘s songs.

After last December’s recording breaking concert in Vienna, a concert in Linz was Merlin’s second appearance in Austria as part of his current tour Hotel Nacional.

koncert2The mayor of the city of Linz, Klaus Luger, the evening before the concert, organized a gala reception and dinner for Dino Merlin, his management and the organizers of the concert. Just another example of how much attention this concert has generated. On the day of the show, according to protocol, they continued with tour in the world-famous Museum of Modern Art Lentos Art.
