Yesterday in Juan Antonio Samaranch hall in Sarajevo (former Zetra) was held the official promotion and awarding of diplomas to graduates of undergraduate and master studies of the University of Sarajevo.
A total of 6369 graduates of the University of Sarajevo were promoted at the ceremony that the University of Sarajevo is organizing for the 11th time in its history, and all the students who finished first and second cycle of studies were awarded with diplomas.
In the first cycle of studies, 25 graduates were awarded with the Golden Badge, the highest award of the University of Sarajevo that is awarded for the overall average score of grades above 9.50, the Silver Badge is awarded to 69 graduates (average score of grades above 9.00), and 5 graduates received the “Charter of the University of Sarajevo” (the award for the best student of a certain faculty whose average grade is between 8.00 and 9.00).
There was 59 awarded students among the students of second cycle of studies. Golden Badge was awarded to 15 master’s graduates, Silver Badge to 40 of them, and 4 students were awarded with “the Charter of the University of Sarajevo.”
Compared to the others, students from this university have a better chance of getting a job, and many companies are offering practice to students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, after which they have the opportunity to get permanent employment in these companies.
