Mostar-Stuttgart Direct Flight europa.baIn cooperation with the company Sea Air, PRO PAK Herzegovina is establishing the first direct flight Mostar – Stuttgart after the war, as of October 12th.

The flights will be conducted every Monday, and the departure is from the Mostar Airport at 10 a.m., while the return from Stuttgart is planned at 1 p.m.

Besides the direct flights from Mostar to Germany, flights for Albania and Poland are also to be established.

At a press conference, the Director of the Tourist Agency PRO PAK Herzegovina Mario Glisic said that the mentioned agency, in cooperation with the Mostar Airport and the company Sea Air, intends on connecting Herzegovina with the European destinations through regular and charter flights.

”As of October 24th, the flight Mostar-Pristina-Tirana will be realized every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. This is one novelty for the air transport market, because there are no flights towards Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia. Besides these flights, on November 9th we are to establish a flight Mostar-London, with a change of flights in Osijek. The flight Mostar-London will be conducted once a week, every Monday. If there is more interest in these flights, we will strive for establishing direct flights Mostar-London in the future. Due to great interest of pilgrims who are coming to Medjugorje from Poland and visit Jadran afterwards, flight Poljska-Mostar will be established for which the dates will be known by the end of the month”, siad Glisic.

The Head of the Transport and Security Sector of the Mostar Airport Marko Djuzel said that he is exceptionally happy that they are directly connected with Germany, and that this has turned them towards other markets as well. Moreover, he added that regular flights towards Italy are to remain, and that the Mostar Airport recorded a record-breaking number of passengers this year.

”We managed to increase the number of passengers. The season lasts for two more months, and it will be extended this year. We are expecting this year’s number of passengers to be around 80.000, actually we are going to play with the numbers from 2012 which was the best year in terms of the number of passengers after the war”, said Djuzel.
