As stated, Torben Granat Svarrer, Peter Hholt, Kasper Johansen and Lars Flensborg Madsen visited the Border Police in front of the Danish police.
Kuprešaković introduced the Danish delegation to the work, functioning and competences of the BiH Border Police.
He also informed them about the current activities of this BiH. police agencies in the fight against terrorism and suppression of all forms of cross-border crime, such as smuggling of migrants, human trafficking, smuggling of narcotic drugs, trade in weapons and explosives and the like, but also on the state of illegal migration, which in recent years represents one of the biggest challenges in the work of the Border Police of BiH.
He emphasized that the BiH Border Police appreciates every form of support, adding that this BiH police agency is a reliable partner in preserving the safety of citizens and strengthening common European security.
During the meeting, experiences and best practices in the field of border surveillance, the fight against illegal migration, as well as the suppression of cross-border crime were exchanged. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening operational cooperation and the possibility of implementing joint projects and training.
In addition to the above, Kuprešaković emphasized the importance of international cooperation, emphasizing that the exchange of information and experiences is key to effective action in a modern security environment.
Representatives of the Danish delegation expressed their readiness to continue and intensify cooperation with the BiH Border Police, especially in the segments of professional training and support for capacity development.
