Disciplinary proceedings against Diana Kajmaković, the suspended prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, should begin on Friday, February 17 before the First Instance Disciplinary Commission of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH (HJPCBiH), confirmed lawyer Senka Nožica to FENA.
Kajmaković was temporarily removed from the position of deputy chief prosecutor and prosecutor of the State Prosecutor’s Office on October 31, 2022 until the final conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings initiated by the disciplinary action of the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor – UDT.
As previously announced, the lawsuit was filed due to disciplinary violations, prescribed by Article 57 of the Law on the HJPC of BiH, including the violation – using the prosecutor’s office to obtain unjustified benefits for oneself or other persons
Also, she is suspected of interfering in the actions of a judge or prosecutor with the intention of obstructing or underestimating their activities, and of behavior in court or the prosecutor’s office and outside the court or prosecutor’s office that harms the reputation of the prosecutor’s office, including any other behavior that constitutes a serious breach of official duty and calls into question public trust in the impartiality and credibility of the prosecution.
Kajmaković, whose name was mentioned in the abuse of the Sky application case, was put on the American ‘blacklist’ in September 2022 for, as stated at the time, undermining democracy and the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
