The President of the Republika Srpska entity, Milorad Dodik, said that 300 members of the Hungarian special police arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina this week.

According to him, they are located in the RS MUP facilities in Banja Luka.

“I must inform you that I am proud. I have agreed with Prime Minister Orban that their anti-terrorist unit, 300 people, will come to RS and that together with the RS MUP Special Anti-terrorist Unit, they will have training and exercises,” Dodik said last night during his address to the RS National Assembly.

Dodik met with Viktor Orban last week, the Hungarian Prime Minister said that he hopes that “new winds” in international politics will stop political attacks on the BiH president entity Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik.

At the same time, Dodik praised Orban, calling him a visionary.

After the meeting, Orban wrote in a post on the social network X that Hungary wants stability in the Balkans, and said that Dodik contributes to that by fighting for the stability and progress of Republika Srpska, Klix.ba writes.

“He should not be punished for that,” Orban said, alluding to the verdict that will be pronounced against the President of Republika Srpska today.

This news comes ahead of today’s verdict against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, before the Court of BiH.

Dodik is charged with failure to implement decisions of the High Representative and the Constitutional Court of BiH. Dodik previously confirmed that he would not appear at the verdict in the case against him and the acting director of the RS Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić.

Instead, he announced a two-day rally in Banja Luka, and had previously spoken on several occasions about “radical moves” in the event of a conviction, including returning to the original Dayton, withdrawing from the Dayton Agreement, and signing a confederation agreement with Serbia.
