The President of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, on Sunday, at the commemoration of the 81st anniversary of the Battle of Kozara, commented on yesterday’s decisions of the High Representative Christian Schmidt, by which he suspended the laws adopted in the National Assembly of the RS on non-publication of the decisions of the High Representative in the Official Gazette of the RS and on non-implementation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“What do these decisions mean? So, if I don’t implement these decisions, I will be arrested and handed over to a Muslim prosecutor, who will hand me over to a Muslim judge, who will sentence me to prison. These laws will not be repealed and we will implement, and we’ll see what happens. These laws were adopted by the RS National Assembly with a two-thirds majority and they will remain in force and I will promulgate them,” said Dodik.
Then he announced, as he said, the strengthening of the inter-entity line and some other steps.
“We will strengthen the inter-entity line. We will declare that the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and SIPA do not have jurisdiction in the RS. We will strengthen the police of the RS. I do not expect that they will attack us with armed force, but if they do, we will not resist. If we give in now and do not determined, we will disappear in ten years. If we are brave and persistent, we will survive,” said Dodik.
He announced that he will present a new policy for the following period in the fall.
“I have to defend this nation, I am ready to make a sacrifice and I will go to the end. I will go to the end, because I have no other choice,” said Dodik.
