Dodik: Certain Changes are possible for the Election of a Member of the BiH Presidency

The President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, pointed out that the position of that entity is that they can tolerate certain changes for the election of a member of the BiH Presidency, so that the RS elects a Serb or representatives of the constituent and other nations.

“This enables everyone to run for office, which is the key issue of those reforms, and the same should be arranged in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Dodik.

He accused the US ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Michael Murphy, of trying, as he said, to break the internal agreement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in his public appearances, he asked to discuss changing the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to bring about changes in the Election Law.

Dodik recalled that during the week in Banja Luka he also spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto.

“Once again, we stated that the RS remains on the European path, as well as that it is necessary to fully respect the coordination mechanism on European issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Dodik.
