Milorad Dodik, the president of Republika Srpska, spoke yesterday with Edward Ferguson, Britain’s ambassador to BiH, about the recently adopted European initiative for BiH.
“Dodik reiterated that RS must be visible on the path to the European Union in accordance with its responsibilities and in the realization of the initiative,” the president’s office said in a statement.
The RS president informed Ambassador Ferguson that the set of reform laws is already in adoption procedure in the RS National Assembly and that he is presenting a practical response to the suggestions that came through the European initiative.
At the meeting in Banja Luka, they also discussed current issues in RS and BiH.
