Dodik: Invitation to U.S. Prayer Breakfast Shows International Recognition

SNSD President Milorad Dodik stated that he has been invited to the Prayer Breakfast in the United States (U.S.).

In an interview, Dodik said that he supports U.S. President Donald Trump.

“And what I think is that the world before Trump was absolutely against us Serbs as a whole, especially in the Republika Srpska (RS), and we opposed that world by supporting and continuing to support Trump in his efforts to introduce certain novelties into geopolitical relations,” Dodik said.

He recalled that he supported Trump in both terms, that this did not go unnoticed, and that it enabled “a relaxation of our relations which we are now experiencing.”

Furthermore, he said that “the question of being or not being for Serbia in the next ten years is Vucic’s position in power,” stating that “his exercise of power stabilizes Serbia in an unstable global order,” as well as that “Vucic has stabilized Serbia.”

He stated that he has no disagreements with Vucic, neither strategic, nor operational, nor daily, and that he, as president, works sincerely and fully in the interest of Serbia.

It should be recalled that until recently, Dodik was on the U.S. blacklist, but extensive lobbying yielded results upon Trump’s arrival as U.S. president, so Dodik and his associates were removed from the OFAC list.
