Dodik insulted the Victims with the Announcement of a “peaceful Separation” and waved a Voter’s List

The Government of Republika Srpska (RS) held a regular session in Srebrenica yesterday, and the president of that Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) entity Milorad Dodik, apart from openly denying the genocide and announcing “peaceful separation”, went a step further.

Showing the alleged updated records of CIPS, Dodik pointed out that “among the living there are also persons whose names are carved into tombstones”, which is insulting to the victims, as well as their family members.

The meeting of the RS Government was held in Srebrenica, and as it was pointed out at the press conference, the members did not come to provoke or harass anyone. However, completely different messages were sent to the public, especially during the address of the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik.

Along with openly denying the genocide and announcing “peaceful separation”, this time he went a step further and said that there are people who are registered as dead and are still alive today.

“There are pictures and names of people carved into the tombstones, and they are now in the updated CIPS records. There are 87 people in CIPS who are recorded as alive and listed as having died in the genocide. Imagine how much they were in a hurry to accumulate in order to reach the set number. This brings doubt to all of this. I want to express my respect for all the victims and say that for me the suffering of any person is equally tragic,” he said.

Speaking about yesterday‘s adoption of the resolution on Srebrenica, Dodik stated that the United Nations (UN) General Assembly is the primary political body, composed of political representatives of sovereign states and UN members.

“The term Srebrenica wants to be promoted globally in a very dubious way. We want to preserve a stable life for all Bosniaks in Srebrenica, the right to identity, religion and freedom in accordance with the Constitution. Srebrenica is becoming a political topic. I think that those who speak the most about BiHhave scored nail in her coffin and let it float now,” claimed Dodik.

As he said, RS will defend its national and people’s interests.

“In this regard, we openly said that things should be returned to the competent bodies of BiH, which was not done. It is pointless to sue any Bosniak for violating the Constitution, that Court is intended to judge Serbs and not anyone else. In this way, it is closed an action called BiH and the RS is not interested in being part of it,” underlined Dodik.

In addition to openly denying the genocide, Dodik repeated that the RS is starting to separate from BiH.

“We will prepare information on the violation of the Dayton Agreement, present it to the National Assembly in the next 30 days and present our proposal for an agreement on the disassociation of BiH,” concluded Dodik, Klix.ba reports.
