dodikThe President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik reiterated yesterday that this BH entity will not give up on the referendum that is scheduled for the 25th of September, on the day of that entity.

After the conversation with the Ambassador of France in BiH, the Republic of Italy and Great Britain in BiH, Deputy Head of EU Delegation in BiH, Deputy Ambassador of Germany in BiH, and the Head Office of the US Embassy in Banja Luka, Dodik said that the diplomats asked questions about the referendum and that he said that there will be no delay and that the referendum will be held.

He invited citizens again  to come out on the 25th of September and, as he said, confirm that the 9th of January will remain the Day of the RS.

“All the preparations for holding a referendum are going as expected,” said Dodik, adding that there was no pressure at the meeting with the ambassadors.

“We had a concrete conversation on this topic,” said Dodik.

He also confirmed that he will meet with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade, and that the referendum in the RS will probably be one of the topics at the meeting.

“I’ll introduce him with the whole situation, but it is clear, the referendum will be held,” said Dodik.

Reason for the meeting with Serbian Prime Minister is opening of the section of the highway Doboj-Prnjavor on the 11th of September, and which should be called “the 9th of January “.
