Dodik sent Harsh Message to the BiH Presidency Member Becirovic

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović, on his own initiative, met today with the High Representative Christian Schmidt. Milorad Dodik reacted to this by saying that Bećirović can represent only one third of the BiH Presidency.

Bećirović and Schmidt held an urgent meeting, and as reported by OHR, it was initiated by a member of the BiH Presidency, and the topics were current political problems.

This meeting apparently angered Dodik judging by the harsh words he sent to Bećirović on his Twitter profile.

“Denis Bećirović really made fun of himself. What was he thinking? That he can represent everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina?”, said Dodik.

In his written statement, Dodik repeatedly provoked by calling Bećirović a “Muslim representative” even though such a thing does not exist as a constitutional category.

“Bećirović constantly forgets, so he needs to be constantly reminded that he is the representative of Muslims in the Presidency of BiH, that they elected him and he can only speak on their behalf. BiH is not only Muslim, it never was and never will be. According to the Constitution, it is composed of two entities and three constituent nations. So, Bećirović is only one third of the BiH Presidency and he should finally start acting like that,” wrote Dodik.
