The defense of Milorad Dodik sent the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina a new request for the disqualification of the judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jasmina Ćosić Dedović.
This information was confirmed by Dodik’s lawyer Goran Bubić.
Bubić stated that the reason for seeking exemption is a reasonable doubt about the impartiality of the acting judge.
“The reason is that the indictment was not returned due to the lack of legal elements of the indictment, but due to the instruction of the Prosecutor’s Office on how to correct the original indictment,” says Bubić.
Bubić points out that the judge can return the indictment due to missing legal elements, but he cannot instruct the Prosecution on how to prepare a description of the indictment regarding the acts of execution, as well as regarding the form of complicity, which, he says, was done in this case by the presiding judge.
Bubić also stated that in the act submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office by Judge Ćosić Dedović, the decision of the Prosecutor’s Office is prejudiced.
“The judge did not maintain a neutral attitude and an equal attitude towards both parties in the proceedings, therefore an equal attitude towards the Prosecutor’s Office and towards the accused,” added Bubić for RTRS.
