A meeting between the President of the RS Milorad Dodik and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin is planned – the Radio-television of the Republika Srpska (RTRS) announced today, citing Russian officials.

That meeting should take place in Saint Petersburg, where Dodik heads the delegation of Republika Srpska at the International Economic Forum, in which representatives of more than 130 countries participate.

RTRS, referring to the statement of the official in the Kremlin Yuri Ušakov, announced that the topics of the meeting between Dodik and Putin will be the situation in BiH and the resolution of the UN General Assembly declaring July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance of the Genocide in Srebrenica and condemning the denial of the genocide and glorification of war criminals.

Ušakov assessed that this resolution could worsen the situation and increase the risk of conflict in the Balkans.
