Does Nermin Niksic keep Evidence of a committed Crime in his Cell Phone or is he deceiving the Public?

The President of the SDP, Nermin Niksic, was a guest on one TV show and gave the presenter his cell phone, which allegedly contained evidence of how SDP deputies voted in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (NARS) during the election of delegates to the House of Peoples of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

“Since I knew who we were dealing with, we insured ourselves and we have proof of who the SDP representatives voted for. I never bring my cell phone to television, I brought it here. Of course I have proof. Here you can see. I knew what was going to happen, I knew what kind of fraudsters we were dealing with…,“told Niksic and gave the presenter his mobile phone, but did not allow the cameras to record.

She looked at the contents of the cell phone and said, “Yes, yes yes… confirmation.”

What is important to emphasize in this case is that the voting was secret, and that the photographing of ballots is prohibited by law, so the question is what kind of evidence Niksic has at his disposal and whether the law was violated.

This was confirmed by the President of the NARS, Nenad Stevandic, who was also a member of the commission for the selection and appointment of delegates.

“I really didn’t notice that someone took a photo of the ballot. I was sitting in the selection and appointment committee, about one and a half to two meters away when the man takes the ballot and leaves… Person would have to be a serious virtuoso, so to speak, so that he/she takes a picture. I really didn’t notice and it seems to me that it was impossible. The deputies were turned sideways towards us, voting with one hand…”, Stevandic told.

Stevandic emphasized that photographing the ticket is a criminal offense, but that he does not want to assess whether Niksicreally has proof or is bluffing.

“I cannot determine that. He showed it to the presenter, and the voting was secret. Whether it is now used in political games, I would not want to judge. It was known that there would be those four delegates, the only thing that was strange was that a canceled ballot for which the PDP says is theirs, although that is also meaningless. Anywhere in the world it would be an invalid ballot,” he added.

In the end, the president of the NARS said that the television broadcasted the session directly and that he doubted that anyone would try to do something that is forbidden.

“Well, it’s not a polling station in some village with 700 registered, where the electricity goes out, where there are local thugs making comments… This was a nice democratic environment, it was on television… I really don’t think anyone would try that,” he concluded.

Yesterday, the opposition PDP invited investigative authorities to examine the contents of the SDP president’s phone and determine where he got the pictures from. They say that with those photos “he has been misleading the public for days in an attempt to deny the obvious connection between the SDP-SNSD”.

The SDP claim that their two deputies (Sasa Grbic and Andrea Gajic) voted for the opposition candidate and that they did not deliver the fourth delegate to Dodik.

Finally, it should be noted that in the age of modern technologies, it is not only possible to make photos with a mobile phone, but also with a smartwatch or pen, Klix.ba reports.
