The organization Dogs Trust B&H started today the campaign of free sterilization of dogs, which is part of the program of ownership dogs and to reduce the influx of new dogs.
This campaign will last until 12 April and will be implemented in the area of Canton Sarajevo and East Sarajevo.
“9 veterinary stations whose staff passed the training Dogs Trust- the latest surgical dog sterilization will be involved in this campaign. Thus, the owners can be sure that their pets are in good hands”, said the Project Manager of Dogs Trust B&H Anel Bećirović.
Bećirović calls on all owners of dogs older than 6 moths to bring their pets for sterilization.
He emphasizes that the main reason of the big number of stray dogs on the streets is irresponsible owners.
