Domestic Company Violeta to open a new Facility: It will work on Solar Power and “make Zero Waste”

violetaThe story about success from the small Herzegovinian town Grude has gained a new epilogue: Violeta Company opened a new facility for the production of liquid detergents which meets the latest international standards.

These are just some of the basic characteristics of the new factory:

  • Production of 6000 liters per hour
  • Format of bottle 50 ml – 5000 ml
  • Its own source of water
  • Solar panels and energy
  • Zero waste materials, ecological project
  • Energy highly usable process
  • Own production of packaging
  • Flexible packaging with the heat shrinkable foil
  • The modern way of packaging, coding and labeling
  • Robot for palletization

Although this facility is already engaged in the production, the opening ceremony attended by B&H Presidency, will be held on Tuesday, the 30th of June. The factory will be officially put in operation by the Chairman of the Presidency of B&H, Mladen Ivanić. On the same day, Violeta’s new factory of detergents and diapers will start producing as well.

The liquid detergent factory is producing detergents for hand washing dishes, laundry detergents, fabric softeners and personal hygiene products (shampoos, baths etc.)

Violeta represents a regional leader in the production of hygiene products, and it is exporting to more than 15 countries. Violeta has its own companies in B&H, Croatia and Slovenia, and it exports to other countries in the region through its distributors. Among other things, Violeta produces: toilet paper, kitchen towels, handkerchiefs, napkins, baby diapers, wet wipes for children, sanitary napkins, adult diapers, cosmetic wet wipes, etc.

In some categories, Violeta is the absolute leader in selling products in B&H and holds more than 50% of the market for the categories: kitchen towels, toilet paper, baby wet wipes ad handkerchiefs. Violeta is the most recognizable domestic brand and the best-selling B&H brand beyond the borders of our country.

New diapers will be produced according to the latest Japanese technology, with the speed line of 800 diapers per minute. This advanced technology allows the production of super absorbing diapers with exceptional softness, and which contains minimal risk of causing irritation to the baby.
