Donji Vakuf to get a Bypass Road?

d.vakuf2Donji Vakuf is the most important B&H crossroad when it comes to road infrastructure, due to the fact that three important highways are crossing the city center: Zenica – Donji Vakuf, Banja Luka – Jablanica and Sarajevo – Split. However, that is also the biggest problem for residents of Donji Vakuf.

“For me, the most important for avoiding traffic jam is bypass road through Donji Vakuf, which is consisted of two bridges and 3 kilometers of bypass roads. I intervened at our authorities, because our citizens cannot live in these conditions and all the necessary documentation is ready and prepared. Property-law relations have been solved and I have sincere promises, and there is no reason for this bypass not to be started already next year,” said Mayor of Donji Vakuf, Huso Susic.

Susic added that the Municipality of Donji Vakuf will get activated in the construction of the bypass road, which should solve the problem of traffic jams through the city center.

The value of investments of construction of the bypass road is amounted to nearly 10 million BAM, according to Susic, and domestic companies will have advantage in the realization.
