Section Lučani-Zenica South to be opened on August 25

highwayMotorways of the Federation of BiH will officially open the section Lučani – Zenica South on August 25, Director of the Public Company “Motorways of FBiH” Ensad Karić announced.

New six kilometers of modern motorway facilitates will shorten the distance between two cities in BiH – Sarajevo and Zenica.

Security and commodity of traveling the motorway A1, more than 102 kilometers long, including almost ten kilometers of double-tube tunnels, will be monitored and secured 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from control room from the recently opened Center for Maintenance and Traffic Control Drivuša, which is the most important facility on motorway A1 for surveillance and traffic control.

Director Karić also commented on media reports that the section has not been completed and that citizens will not be able to use it.

“Media that publish these false articles are deceiving the public and they are not informing the public objectively. I do not understand political forces behind the false reports on project of state importance. Certain persons got everything from the state of BiH, including the citizenship, and by spreading lies about the state project they show they do not wish well for our state” , Director of PC “Motorways FBiH” Ensad Karić added.
