If you take a look at the sky in the night from 13th to 14th of November, you will witness something truly spectacular – huge Supermoon that will be extremely large and bright, as reported by the BBC on Saturday.
The moon was huge last month, but this will be special, the biggest and brightest since 1948, thus the biggest in the last 70 years.
For “Supermoon” are required two things – it must be a full moon and should be particularly close to the Earth.
This Supermoon will be special because it will be closer to Earth than it has ever been in the last few decades, thus, it will be bigger and brighter than we will ever see it in our life.
Supermoon is typically 14 % larger and 30 % brighter than the full Moon.
Another Supermoon should appear on the 14th of December, but it will not be as glamorous as the one in November, the biggest in this century.
However, it will be special in its own way. Since it will be really great, it will make it difficult to observe the meteor shower next month, as reported by the BBC.
