The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team secured their place in the 2026 World Cup qualification play-offs tonight with a win against Romania in Zenica.

In a great match at Bilino Polje, Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved a big victory with a turnaround in the second half with 3:1.

The guests silenced the home crowd in the 17th minute with a goal from Daniel Birligee.

In the second half, the home team played a great 45 minutes in which they managed to score three goals for a big turnaround through Edin Džeko in the 48th minute, Esmir Bajraktarević in the 79th minute and Haris Tabaković in the 90th minute.

With the win, Bosnia and Herzegovina secured at least a place in the play-offs, and in the final round against Austria on Tuesday they will play for a direct place in the World Cup.
