“Dragons” defeated in Eindhoven by the Netherlands

Tonight in Eindhoven, the Netherlands beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 5:2 in the match of the first round of Group A3 of the League of Nations.

The home team opened the match brilliantly and took the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by Zirkzee.

“Dragons” equalized in the 27th minute. Denis Huseinbašić provided a great assist to Demirović, and our striker checked the helpless goalkeeper of the Netherlands.

The Dutch continued to dominate until the end of the first half, had several great chances, and scored the second goal in stoppage time.

The second minute of stoppage time was played when Reijnders scored for 2:1.

The home side scored the third goal in the 56th minute, and the scorer was Gakpo.

In the continuation, the Netherlands missed several excellent chances, and in the 73rd minute, the B&H footballers reduced the score to 3:2.

Debutant Esmir Bajraktarević made great work for Edin Džeka, and our captain routinely sent the ball into the net.

Bh. the team had several good attacks in the next ten minutes, but failed to score a third goal.

The Netherlands scored the fourth goal in the 88th minute, and the scorer was substitute Weghorst.

The final 5:2 is set by Simons in the 92nd minute.

The following players played for BiH: Vasilj, Barišić, Katic, Mujakić, Dedić, Gazibegović, Tahirović, Gigović, Huseinbašić, Demirović and Džeko.

Krunić, Šarić, Burnić, Bajraktarević and Tabaković got the opportunity in the sequel.

The following players played for the Netherlands: Verbruggen, Dumfries, De Ligt, Van Dijk, Ake, Schouten, Reijnders, Gravenberch, Simons, Zirkzee and Gakpo.

On September 10, our football players will compete against Hungary in Budapest, with a live broadcast on BHRT programs.

The Netherlands will face Germany on the same day.
