Bosnia and Herzegovina national team players trained yesterday on Grbavica Stadium, under the watchful eye of the coach Mehmed Baždarević.
However, as it is always the case with our national team members, they did not miss the opportunity to engage in the projects of social benefit, and yesterday on Grbavica they held a banner “No excuses – give blood”, inviting the citizens to participate in this humanitarian action.
A difficult task is in front of the Dragons on June 12th at Bilino Polje in Zenica, where they are to play against the Israel national team in a crucial qualifying match for the European Championship 2016 in France.
“We all know what is expected of us. As for health, the season was long. I played the last game against Napoli as well, so everything’s all right”, said Senad Lulić.
He pointed out that in the first match against Israel our team was incomplete, and therefore we suffered a defeat.
“When we are all healthy, we can play against any opponent. We should not fear anyone, not even Israel”, Lulić said.
Besides Zukanović and Cimirot, who are absent due to injury, selector Baždarević has all the players from the list at his disposal for the match against Israel.
“National team players are full of confidence; the mood on the field is excellent. We did an analysis of Israel. The recordings will be presented to our players”, said Baždarević’s assistant Dragan Perić.
“The Minister of Defense” Asmir Begović said that the mood is good and that trainings are undergoing very well.
“We are all looking forward to the match; it will be a great test. We’re playing for the whole country and the fans”, said Begović.
