Dragons Wings cut off: Walters led Ireland to Euro with 2 Goals

fans (1)National football team of B&H tonight was defeated by the team of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin in the rematch of play-off for the European Championship that will be played next year in France. Dragons have lost with the score 2: 0.

In the 23rd minute when Bjorn Kuipers awarded a penalty for Ireland after Zukanovic’s playing with hand in the penalty area. Walters checkmated Begovic for 1: 0. As soon as our team walked to the center, Dzeko hit the outer part of the net.

Team of Mehmed Bazdarevic was unable to seriously threaten the goal of Ireland in the first half of hour. Medunjanin tried his shot in the 33rd minute but without any success.

Dragons accepted style of game imposed by Ireland. They played long balls, and team of Ireland was removing the danger in front of their goal without much difficulty. The first half of the match ended with the score 1: 0.

Dragons strongly attacked in the beginning of the second half. Visca engaged Lulic in the 55th minute. However, footballer of Lazio didn’t manage to carry out the ball in the crucial moment. After that, head coach of Ireland made a double substitution. He did not liked how his players started the second half.

Miralem Pjanic’s shot was blocked in the 59th minute. Head coach Bazdarevic made a substitution and Milan Djuric entered the game in the 69th minutes instead of Medunjanin.

In the 70th minute Walters defeated unsecure Begovic again for 2: 0. Then it became clear who is traveling to the European Championship in France.

Team of Ireland controlled the game until the very end. Ireland qualified for the Euro and B&H team failed to reach the finals of a big competition in the extra qualifications.
