Drama “Aeneid” at the ”Teatar Kabare” in Tuzla

On Tuesday, the 18th December, drama ” Aeneid” will be performed at the ” Teatar Kabare” in Tuzla. The performance will start at 19:30 p.m.

Aeneid (lat. Aeneis) is a Latin epic poem written by the Roman writer Virgil during the last ten years of his life. The basic function of this epic poem is to celebrate the origin and development of the Roman Empire. The essential idea of the epic poem is the legend of Aeneas, the Trojan hero who survived the conquering and plundering of Troy. After that, Aeneas founded the Italian province. Due to this, it is considered that Aeneas is the founder of the city of Albe Lounge and of the city of Rome.

The drama was directed by Vlado Kerošević and Damir Mahmutović. The acting cats for this drama consists of: Mirza Salihović – Aeneas, Damir Mahmutović – Zeus, Alisa Brkić – Juno, Selma Ćosić – Dido, Dražen Pavlović – Neptune, Nermin Hodžić – Hermes, Rusmir Krdžalić – Sinon, while the roles of the narrators are played by Mirza Bajramović and Zlatan Školjić.
