In Dobrunska Rijeka, better known as “Drazevina”, members and followers of the Ravna Gora Movements from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Serbia paid tribute to the Chetnik leader Dragoljub Draza Mihailovic and his comrades. They attended and were convicted of inciting hatred at the rally in 2019.

On March 13th, more than a hundred followers of the Ravna Gora Movements gathered in the Monastery of St. Nicholas in Dobrunska Rijeka on the occasion of the anniversary of the arrest of the Chetnik leader Draza Mihailovic.

Dusan Sladojevic, the president of the Ravna Gora Movement of Republika Srpska (RS), said that the followers of the movement met yesterday to “pray for the soul of General Draza”, stating that a memorial will also be made to the martyred comrades of Mihailovic.

Sladojevic was found guilty by the State Court last year and sentenced to five months in prison for inciting national, racial, and religious hatred, discord, and intolerance in the area of Visegrad and its surroundings in March 2019.

“Thanks to the help of sympathizers from Australia, the United States (U.S.), and Canada, we gathered the funds and paid off our freedom,” said the president of the Ravna Gora Movement of the RS, adding that Risto Lecic also bought off the prison sentence.

According to an earlier letter from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), an order was issued for the third convict, Lecic, to serve a prison sentence. Lecic attended yesterday’s meeting and confirmed that he also bought off the five-month prison sentence he was sentenced to for singing a song glorifying the Chetnik movement and expressing threats and violence.

The memorial service and the laying of flowers, as well as the lighting of candles, was held in the Monastery in Dobrunska Rijeka near Visegrad, after which Radan Ostojic, president of the Veterans’ Organization of the RS, addressed those present.

“Today, this is part of the history of the Serbian people, and what happened to the Serbian people from 1941 to 1945 must never happen again,” Ostojic stated yesterday, Detektor reports.
