Duffy: I hope the current Situation is not the Future of BiH

Peter-Duffy-USAID-MDDirector of the USAID Mission in BiH Peter Duffy stated that he would like to believe that the current situation in BiH is not the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“There are many things that upset me when we talk about nationalist rhetoric. If you look at the young people who launch companies, people who are creative, people who get educated, many beautiful things are going on in Bosnia and Herzegovina right now,” Duffy said.

However, the nationalist rhetoric that we see moves the focus from the positive things that happen in the country.

“I think that on the level of local communities people have abandoned the borders of nationalist separation and antagonism and that they work together. I sincerely hope that politicians will accept that as well,” Duffy also said.
