Dutch Adventurer after visiting BiH: It’s the best-kept Secret in Europe, they told me it’s dangerous

Dutch travel blogger Luke Patrick Hoogmoed visited Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and shared his impressions after many warned him to be careful when visiting.

Sharing a reel with the inscription “Me in BiH after everyone warned me how dangerous it is” where he says: “Should I move here?”, he mentioned his impressions after visiting BiH for the third time.

“So many people told me to be careful when I go to Bosnia (and other Balkan countries)”, he stated under the video from Mostar and stated that they asked him: “Why are you going there?”, “Don’t you know that it is very dangerous there ?”, and “Have fun stepping on a mine”

However, his impressions after his third visit to our country are completely opposite to the warnings he received.

“After visiting BiH 3 times already, I can say with certainty that it is one of Europe’s best-kept secrets. I would even say that it is one of the best European countries for travelers,” he said.

He also listed the places he liked the most. Sarajevo is in first place, and he says that maybe the capital is not the most beautiful place in the country, but in his opinion it is the most interesting: “Sarajevo is a melting pot of religions, cultures and architecture. The history of the city, the history of the 90s, left the biggest impact on me, as well as many things that happened before”.

Sarajevo is not the most beautiful, but Mostar is! Undoubtedly the most beautiful city in BiH. I didn’t jump off the bridge, though,” he joked afterwards.

The third on the list is the Kravice waterfall, which he says is his favorite place in the country and notes that BiH is an excellent destination for nature lovers, Klix.ba writes.
