The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has initiated disciplinary proceedings against the coach of Istanbul’s Fenerbahce, JoseMourinho, and the team captain, Edin Dzeko, according to TFF’s legal department.

Mourinho is undergoing disciplinary action for “unsportsmanlike conduct, insults, and unsporting statements,” while Dzeko faces proceedings due to his post-match statements about the officiating following the game against Trabzonspor.

The Portuguese coach Mourinho shared footage of a controversial situation during the match against Trabzonspor in the previous round on social media, and Dzeko’s statements followed the 11th-round match of the Trendyol Turkish Super Lig, where Fenerbahce won 3-2 away.

Disciplinary actions will also apply to Istanbul’s yellow and blue management member Acun licali, as well as Trabzonspor’s president Ertugrul Dogan and Hatayspor’s coach Riza Calimbay, AA writes.
