Bosnian-Herzegovinian footballer Edin Dzeko was by far Fenerbahce’s top scorer in the last season of the Turkish Super League.

The representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina scored 21 of his team’s 99 goals and recorded five assists.

He spent 2,692 minutes on the field in 36 league games this season.

The experienced attacker also played in the UEFA Conference League last season, while he did not play in the Turkish Cup.

Dzeko spent 3,242 minutes in 46 official matches in all competitions last season, scoring 25 goals and registering nine assists.

Forward Michy Batshuayi, who played 775 minutes in 27 matches in the Super League this season and scored 12 goals and registered one assist, is next in the list of the best scorers of the season in Fenerbahce.

It is important to note that the Belgian footballer spent an average of only 28 minutes and 42 seconds per game during the season.

Batshuayi scored a goal every 65 minutes on average and was Fenerbahce’s most effective player in that regard.

The Turkish Irfan Can Kahveci, who scored 12 goals and registered seven assists in 31 championship games, was also at the top of the scorers’ list.

Serbian midfielder Dušan Tadić, who played in all 38 games in the Turkish league, scored ten goals and registered 14 assists.

The Polish Sebastian Szymanski scored ten goals and registered 11 assists in 37 games.

At the end of a very exciting season, Fenerbahce took second place with 99 points, just behind Galatasaray, who finished the season with 102 points and thus secured the title of Turkish champion only in the last round, AA writes.
