As in the past, I am happy to be a part of UNICEF story, which makes me especially proud. I am the happiest when I see a child’s smile and working with children fulfills me over and over again, it gives me strength to be persistent. We are each other’s biggest support’, said the captain of the Dragons.
During the previous engagement as the UNICEF Ambassador of Good Will, Džeko was very dedicated to working with children, participated in the campaign ‘Govorimo o mogućnostima’ (Let’s Speak About Opportunities), on his birthday invited the entire National Team to join the advocacy of children’s rights with and without disabilities through a match which the children played against them, as well as through the match symbolically named ‘Svi na jednom mjestu’ (All in One Place).
