In an interview to Dnevni Avaz, on the day of the match, first star of BiH football Edin Džeko said that there is a great optimism, which is beyond expectations.

Džeko added: ‘We are the best for creating euphoria. However, I don’t think it is necessary before this game, because we don’t need pressure. We’ll go on the field and play the best we can. We’ll see how the game develops, shall we attack immediately or we wait patiently for our chance. With Greeks one must always be careful. Greeks are best at counter-attacks and we should be extra careful because of that, but I think that with smart play we can match their tactics.’

He noted that the key to victory is to patient and that chances will arrive, and added that Greeks are very experienced team.

Džeko also said: ‘I hope that our fans will support us till the last minute and we’ll offer them good play and good fight.’
