Earth Day: The Action “One Story -One Book” in Zenica

dan_planete_zemljeAssociation “Naša djeca” from Zenica in cooperation with micro-credit foundation “Lider” within the frame of celebration Earth Day, 22 April, will organize the action titled ‘Jedna priča – jedna knjiga’ (One story -one book), with the goal of drawing attention on the nature vulnerability and human negligence in regard to nature.

In this way “Naša djeca” wants to encourage children to reflect on this very issue, in order that they give their contribution to the preservation of the environment, as future residents of this planet, reports the Agency Fena.

Association, with the help of friends from the micro-credit foundation “Lider” invites children from 6 to 14 years old to propose an activity or to write a story/poem on the theme ‘Čuvam svoju planetu’ (I am saving my planet).

The most creative works and those who send a strong message to other children and adults will be awarded with a book gift. Papers can be submitted until 20 April, and the award ceremony for the best works will take place on 22 April at the Zenica Library, when will be organized a special program for children.
