The earthquake hit the area around Banja Luka at around 3.30pm on Monday.
According to initial information, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 20 kilometers north of Banja Luka.
The European Seismological Center reported that the magnitude of the earthquake was 2.7 per Richter.
There is no information yet on any material damage.
