An earthquake with a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale hit the wider area of Banja Luka this evening.
According to information from the EMSC, the epicenter of the earthquake was seven kilometers northwest of Banja Luka at a depth of 11 kilometers.
Numerous citizens reported that they felt the earthquake, and most of them described it as a short tremor.
“Slight rocking while I was sitting”, “A brief rumble”, “I’m sitting in the car. I thought it shook because of the other vehicles passing by, but it seems it was an earthquake”, are some of the comments.
According to initial information, the earthquake did not cause material damage.
